The Band
What started as just a couple guys from Montana and Canada gettin' together to combine followings soon took off into regional phenomenon. Since the inception of "Nathan Chance" in May of 2006, the boys have opened for National-caliber Acts such as Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Shedaisy, Brooks n' Dunn and most recently.... George Strait. Their following continues to grow in the northwest with the support of major market stations like KMPS of Seattle. Their style of country music tends to be on the rock/Blues edge and people continue to flock to shows as they've come to expect the best "regional" entertainment around. Come see for yourself how two small town boys have managed to capture the attention of big crowds. Welcome to Nathan Chance Country...
Nathan Arneson
Born on the Alaska-Canadian Highway at mile marker 47.... Nathan has never been anything less than a remarkable story. For seven years he worked crowds throughout the northwest covering everything Tim McGraw to Ronnie Dunn. When his heart turned to original music and his music career crossed paths with Chance, he knew there was a recipe for success in the not-so-distant future. "When I first stumbled across a Nathan Arneson show, I was amazed at how many people in the audience identified with him... To be honest, I was a little jealous," says Chance. "Having worked and performed with him for a year, I now understand how he was able to do it ... the guy is electric!"
Chance McKinney
Standing over 6'6" tall, Chance has some large boots to fill. The expectation of the country "big man means competition" with likes of Trace Adkins, Keith Anderson and Darryl Worley. While not on the same national stage as the boys above, Chance can cover all their material and yet still bring his own unique style to a show with the deep, filthy, syrup drippings' voice. A background in Motown means he moves like a temptation while a Montana upbringing roots him squarely in country. Nathan remembers, "seeing Chance sing his originals on stage for the first time. Who'd have guessed a couple years later he'd be writing songs for 'us' in 'our' group!?"
Ed DeGenaro
Edward DeGenaro is a fusion guitarist whose unique mix of bebop and metal sounds, along with a whole lot of the DeGenaro personality, has been compared to the likes of Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale, and Steve Vai. Ed's journey in music began in Germany, where he was born and raised. At an early age, he studied cello but quickly picked up the guitar as his instrument of choice for venting his artistic expression. After receiving a degree in Performance and Teaching from the German National Conservatory of Music in Nuremberg, he worked as a "hired gun" guitarist and session player, performing all over Europe before relocating to LA and finally to Seattle, where he currently resides. Featured in this years Guitar Player Guitar Hero competition, he came into the Top 10 as the only fretless player competing against all fretted players. His contributions, as a musician and an engineer, include numerous projects with major labels, musicians like Elliott Sharp, Steve Kimock, David Byron Band, Accept, Hammerhead, Alcatraz, and producers David Rosenthal (Rainbow, Robert Palmer), Bob Dylan and Roy Thomas Baker. His latest credits were for the newest Red Octane game... Guitar Hero 3, doing the guitar parts for "Johnny" in the final duel with the "devil". The sound track of which will be on Interscope Records. Finally, he just finished his newest CD called Dog House.
Brian Bujacich
Brian's signature is a solid groove with a danceable feel. Throughout the past decade he has performed with some of the best bands in the northwest including: Dance Factory, Chester City Blues Band, Brad Barker Jazz Quartet, Shadrack, and Evergreen. He has played in groups ranging in style from Heavy Metal, Blues, Rock, Country, and Jazz. He has gone on to share the stage with Joe Nichols, Bo Diddley, Hal Ketchum, Bob Fitts and Lonestar. While with Nathan Chance, he has opened for among others, She Daisy, George Strait, Martina McBride, and Rascal Flatts. The last few years he has spent much of his time as a session player in some the Northwest's top studios. Recent sessions include Christian recording artists Sarah Montgomery, Chelle Velez, and Jimi Layne. In addition to his busy playing and recording schedule, he's a drum instructor at his drum studio B-Squared Music. He also serves as band leader for his church's worship team.
